What is Chi Alpha?
We’re an international network of Christian ministries that look a little bit different on every campus—but here’s what you’re always sure to find: college-aged men and women who are at once wrestling to become who they are (through school or work or life experience), and to connect with God. You’ll probably find people who are in all kinds of stages of both pursuits: self-discovery and God-discovery.
Chi Alpha Korea
In 2014, our founder arrived in Seoul with a call from God and a burden for college students. She came as a single woman with little knowledge of the Korean language fully reliant on God's guidance. While praying and walking around a university campus, God prompted her to talk to a student. Unsure of whether the student spoke English, our founder did what any of us might in her situation. She kept on walking! But the Holy Spirit wouldn't let her leave. She felt even more strongly that she should talk to that student and turned around in obedience. God orchestrated the conversation and that student became the first of many to join Chi Alpha Korea. Since then, we have become an established ministry serving college students on several university campuses in Seoul.
